What is Hypnosis and what are the benefits?
Well, hypnosis is a dividing line between a normal awaken state and a deep trance state.
Hypnosis is when the hypnotherapist reaches out to the subconscious mind by bypassing the client’s conscious mind.
Hypnosis is the key that unlocks the door to the subconscious mind that can reach the clients thoughts, emotions and memories.
Hypnosis can help in many areas such as;
Pic – phobias etc
Hypnosis has been proven as a therapeutic aid to help gain positive thinking in your every day life.
Pre-induction = free of charge
I truly believe it is down to the individual client whether or not they can be hypnotised by a hypnotherapist “after all, we all have free will”.
By assessing all individual clients and with the build up of trust, rapport and the familiarity of the session room, I believe that all clients can experience a certain level of relaxation or just a light trance state.
During your 1hr pre-induction you will be taken through a various list of easy questions and some suggestibility exercises where I will be able to assess if you will be a suitable client for hypnosis.
F.A.Q’s (Frequently asked Questions)
- (Q) HOW WILL I FEEL UNDER HYPNOSIS?
(A) You will feel very relaxed to the point that you will feel that you are both here and not here, feeling just like being in a daydream.
- (Q) WILL I BE ASLEEP DURING MY SESSION?
(A) No you will not be asleep, this is the fascinating part about hypnosis, although you may think and feel it as being sleep it is NOT.
For example, when the hypnotherapist asks you to come back after 3 you will automatically come back where as if asleep you probably would not.
- (Q) WHAT HAPPENS TO ME AFTER THE SESSION IS OVER?
(A) Well not only feeling totally relaxed and mentally energised you may notice within the next few days of your session, images and visions will surface spontaneously to the forefront of your mind. These images and visions will remind you and prompt your willpower and determination to achieve your goals that you are looking for.
- (Q) WHAT IF I DON’T COME OUT OF HYPNOSIS?
(A) This is a good question, and I would like to reassure you that everyone comes out of hypnosis. I have personally had clients that take longer than others to come out of hypnosis, however that’s down to the clients desire and their own free-will that will keep themselves under hypnosis.
For example if you are daydreaming or asleep and enjoying the feelings and visions then it would be your own freewill that keeps you under hypnosis.
As a hypnotherapist, I will not leave a client under longer than necessary and will use different techniques to bring the client pleasantly back to full consciousness.
- (Q) CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME?
(A) Yes you can bring a friend especially if you are nervous or an adolescent, however I personally feel that during the pre-induction you will have already felt reassured and most definitely built up a rapport with myself as your hypnotherapist.
Please NOTE; Clients that do come on their own are more likely to open up more during their pre-induction and counselling sessions.
(After all its your mind I will be working with).
Please note below;
